OK, so we all agree to re-share our common information with one another. It drives value all over the place. Our community
thrives. What’s next?
Well, by sharing information centrally, it leads to instant communication. Imagine if, using the example above, Tectura works with
ABC Rentals and finds out they will be paying their renewals late? Wouldn’t it be nice if Tectura could, with a single e-mail or
post, inform all the other ISVs of this event?
Now look at these other scenarios:
- Imagine if a VAR could synchronize all ISV products to match the Microsoft Dynamics renewal date.
- Imagine if the act of a customer re-assigning themselves to another VAR instantly informs all ISVs that a new VAR should be contacted?
- Imagine if VARs obtained pricing that was timely, up-to-date, and guaranteed accurate?
- Imagine if VARs were informed of all renewal rates months in advance, so they have time to adequately prepare the bill for their customers?
By centralizing the information, VARs have an avenue to broadcast information about a customer in a single resource. More time saved. More value.
